About Dark Forest Chocolate Makers
Dark Forest Chocolate Makers is Western New York's first small-batch chocolate maker. We craft vegan and soy- & nut-free chocolate from the highest quality organic cacao beans, organic sugar, and natural ingredients right in our shop, which is just 10 miles from Buffalo at
11 West Main St. in the lovely village of Lancaster.

Though we are a small company, we have been recognized with several international awards for our rich and complex dark and milk chocolates. We are genuinely passionate about bringing chocolate lovers this unique taste experience, which is why free samples are always available.
Who We Are
Dark Forest Chocolate Makers, Inc. was born out of the quest for quality chocolate. Our research led to an education on the health benefits of cacao, and the many varieties grown in different parts of the world. We found bars from small batch craft chocolate makers in other cities that tasted amazing-—unlike anything available to us locally.
Inspired, we became interested in the entire process of making chocolate from cacao bean to chocolate bar. From there, we took a leap of faith and turn our obsession into a business in 2015. ​

We've created delicious chocolate that is lower in sugar and higher in cacao than most brands. We're thrilled to make a food that is luscious and healthy.

Our Committment
One of our goals is to bring to light the common practice among cacao producers of using child and slave labor.
